I was working outside my pizzeria to be, when a young man approached
me and asked me what I was going to have here. I told him. He told me it
will never work. There have been numerous people starting up and closing here the past 10 years.
It didn't sound good and I was wondering if I had miscalculated my idea.
But, then on the other hand the guy didn't know me nor did anyone else in this Small Town of 1578 people. But I have a vast international experience, and I knew what I was going to do. But that was some time ago.
It is however true, I didn't check the age population before I went into it.
So, I figure I will just open up. No big deal, no advertising, no mailings no nothing. Just opening up and stick to it.

So I opened my third pizza place and my first in USA,  June 9, 2004. It all went on mouth to mouth since that day. The guests who came in got a menu with them home and the business started slowly...

Now it has passed three years + and people are making my place a destination. Of course, I understand or hope, that my artwork have a part
of it. But it is the pizza, the tiramisu and the salads they are coming for.

It doesn't matter if you live in a big city or in Small Town, America -
as after all, we are starting with the catering to the people around us.

So, now it is up to you. Do you want to give your guests quality or quantity? Do you want them to talk to their friends and family all over about your great pizza?! At the holidays the regulars are introducing their family members from the BIG cities. You read the comments on the Wall of Fame and you will know what I am saying..

Yours Sincerly,
Björn Sjögren
